Cubic Strengthens NextCity Vision with Contract to Deploy Intelligent Traffic Technologies in Merida, Mexic

SAN DIEGO – June 9, 2020 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB) today announced its Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) business division was awarded a multimillion-dollar contract to install advanced traffic management technologies for the city of Merida, Mexico. Cubic partnered with Vixionere SAPI de C.V. to deploy the Trafficware ATMS central transport management platform, controllers and Transit Signal Priority software, which utilizes and is integrated with Cubic’s NextBus real-time platform, at all project intersections.  SAN DIEGO – Nov. 19, 2019 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) today announced its Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) business division released version 11 of its flagship Synchro plus SimTraffic Signal Timing and Traffic Analysis Software during the International Road Federation’s annual R2T Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada at booth A31.

Synchro Software and its suite of associated applications is a traffic signal timing software that assists engineers and transportation planners design, model, optimize, simulate and animate signalized and unsignalized intersections (including roundabouts). With more than 25 years of tested and proven results, Synchro Suite continues to set the standard as the industry’s leading software for transportation agencies and consultants.

​ATMS 2.8 includes cloud-based integration between ATMS and Synchro® plus SimTraffic Signal Timing and Simulation software.  The new software incorporates a cloud-based wizard style interface, allowing Agencies using ATMS to share controller database information with Synchro users and for Synchro users to send revised signal timing plans to ATMS.
